Greg Hart joined Coursera as President and CEO, and a member of the Board in February 2025, bringing over 25 years of leadership in technology-driven innovation and operational excellence. Mr. Hart previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Compass, Inc., a real estate technology company, from May 2022 to December 2023, and as its Chief Product Officer from April 2020 to April 2022. Prior to that, Mr. Hart held various leadership positions at Amazon.com, Inc., where he served for 23 years, including leading Amazon’s Prime Video global business, leading the Amazon Echo business, and as Technical Advisor to Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s founder and Chief Executive Officer. Since December 2024, he has served as a member of the board of directors of Bose Corporation. In addition, he serves as an unpaid advisor to Baller League GmbH. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and is an inventor or co-inventor on 71 US patents.
